Autopilot Defense Isn’t Turned Off So Easy

And my darling,
Shes flying high but
She still has those days
Where some subtle misfortune
Plunges her into that sea of agony
All too familiar

I’m so sorry
My darling knows
The feeling of a stomach
Full of rocks
Lips that just can’t help but quiver
A stubborn tongue
Forcing content words

She doesn’t need
To build walls anymore,
My lovely darling,
And I’m sorry for that
They build themselves so perfectly
They fail to include doorways

My darling
I see through her smile
But she still won’t let me in
